Important news from the Macs Hotel
To all our valued patrons out there, we have some great news! The Macs Hotel is set to reopen next Wednesday 3rd of June for lunch & dinner service.
We are taking every precaution to ensure the safety, hygiene and well-being of our customers & staff. Practices have been implemented to maintain social distancing, cleanliness of the venue, touch points and preparation areas.
Please note that due to capacity restrictions we have very limited seating available – it is essential that you book direct on 87252402 to comply with our Covid Safe plan. Opening Hours will be Wednesday-Sunday Lunch (12-3pm) and Dinner (5.30-9pm).

The Macs Hotel has a rich history, first licensed in 1864 by John MacDonald; whose son is credited with naming the hotel. In 1871 the lease for the hotel was transferred to ‘Archie’ Mackenzie, who later purchased the hotel in 1881.
Today the Macs Hotel features a number of areas including an eclectic bistro dining room, cider garden bar complete with deck area, accommodation rooms, gaming room, parlour dining room and kids indoor play area. This historic hotel with its central location (located only 1.7kms from the Blue Lake), provides guests with affordable accommodation, live entertainment, DJ’s on Saturday’s from 9pm, great Australian pub fare and the latest in gaming.
